Well, this plane performs quite superbly and in a manner befitting a pattern plane. It flies like a dart. Points to note:
- This version (circa 2017) of the Vanquish still sports the aluminium wing and stabiliser incedence adjusters - very nice.
- Not sure what the film covering is but it certainly resists delamination - under the sun - very well.
- Replacing the original, small, hard wheels with nice 3.5inch Dubro Low Bounce wheels has allowed for very satisfactory performance on the ground.
- Since I do not compete I have added a stabiliser which helps out when the conditions are rough. A stabiliser certainly does not do any flying for you!
- The combination of Torquoe Silver Bullet motor and 20x12e Mejzlik carbon prop provide a quite suitable motor sound in the air.
