On 12th Sept, heavy clouds roll in and the first rain in weeks pours down.

Just before heading out later that evening, this is view that greets us.

The very next morning, Claire makes a beeline for the gondola to check it out.

Entering the snow line...

...and it's soooo pretty!!

The poor camera is doing overtime trying to keep up with Claire's excitement!

Someone else excited at the snow already has a ski pole out.

And no snowfall is complete without...

Took as many pictures again, just of trees as snow fell heavier on the way back down the gondola.
